Expert Witness Services

Credible Experience and Knowledge. In the Duck Creek Allotment case, livestock permittees aimed to enhance grazing management. In 2008, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) approved a four-pasture deferred rotational grazing system. Shane Green, owner of RangeWise, assisted the BLM with data collection and testified as an expert witness. Environmental groups challenged the decision, resulting in a lengthy hearing and years of appeals. Ultimately, in 2017, the permittees and BLM prevailed, with the court recognizing the strength and depth of BLM's evidence, particularly in contrast to that presented by the environmental group experts.
